About Us
Formed in 2002, ACCEL is a county-wide collaborative among public and private agencies that:
- Seeks to create healthier communities, especially within vulnerable populations
- Identifies specific barriers (especially access!) to a healthy community
- Develops systematic improvements that include all partners and serve our entire community
Together, these are designed to help create a stronger, better coordinated community health system for the people who live in El Dorado County and serve as a model for others. ACCEL includes a diverse membership of partners across the County.
