Patients and Families

ACCEL works closely with patients and their families to help provide the resources to help them live a healthier life. Through the combined resources and support of each of our partners, ACCEL helps to coordinate a number of services to El Dorado County residents, with a particular focus on vulnerable populations.

Examples of ACCEL services include:

• Connecting families with primary care doctors or a “medical home”
• Helping children and families obtain health coverage, including assistance finding medical and dental care insurance
• Supporting families access resources to for newborns
• Accessing specialty care services (medical, mental/behavioral health)
• Promoting healthier lifestyles
